The Guy's Cliffe estate was sold in 1947, with the mill becoming the Saxon Mill pub, the stables a riding school and the kitchen garden a nursery. Plans to convert the house into a hotel were never completed and it fell into disrepair. It was also damaged by a fire in 1992. There is now a modern house, also known as Guy's Cliffe House, to the north-west of the original ruined one.
The prints OP29650, OP29651, OP29652 and OP29653 are mounted together on a loose album page. On the other side of the page are OP29654 and OP29655 which shows images of Lasborough in Gloucestershire.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
