Description

The doorway was originally part of the 11th century church which burnt down in the late 19th century. It was then reused by the architect, J L Pearson, in the replacement church built in the 1880s.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was accessioned by the National Buildings Record on 21st November 1962.
