Description

The Guild Chapel was founded by the Guild of the Holy Cross in 1269. All that remains of the 13th century building, however, is the chancel, with the nave, north porch and west tower all late 15th century in date. The chapel was restored in 1804 and again in the 1950s.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
