Description

The site, listed with the name Midland Sales and Training Centre, Thomas Potterton Limited' was built in 1822 and is an early example of a complete range of buildings built for a gas works. In 2013 a planning application was made to convert the site into residential accommodation.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was accessioned by the National Monuments Record on 25th July 1969.
