Description

Sir William Cordell (died 1581) was Master of the Rolls and was also responsible for the construction of Melford Hall. His monument was designed by Cornelius Cure, master mason to the crown.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
