The stepped entrance to the summer house at Melford Hall

The octagonal summer house is located to the north-west of the main house and is built into the west boundary wall. It dates from the 16th century and each face is surmounted by a gable with an octagonal pinnacle.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
