Description

The hammerbeam roof was restored in 1880 after the removal of an 18th century coved ceiling revealed that the lower half had been badly damaged.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
