Description

Although Henry VIII gifted the house to his wife, the house was never actually lived in by Anne of Cleves.

On the back of the print is the handwritten note '[bought from Alastair Forsyth 17/1/1995]'

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
