Noted on the back of the print is 'Exterior. Front of Cottage taken just outside gate. I have tried over the years to make the garden complementary to the cottage. The front door is at the back of the house consequently people seldom find it! Almost invariably the kitchen door is used. Beneath the chimney is my Corn Dolly- Rufus the fox'.
