Tablehurst Mill was a mainly 16th century building. By 1925 it has ceased working and it was demolished nine years later.
The postmark on the back of the postcard indicates it was sent in 1911, although the stamp is earlier as it depicts King Edward VII. It is addressed to Mrs Clark at 6 Second Avenue, Hove, Sussex.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
