Description

In front of the church is a sign advertising Lantern Services during Lent, starting Sunday 17th February. Based on this information, the photograph is likely to have been taken in either 1907 or 1918, as in both years that date fell on a Sunday and Lent began on the Wednesday before.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
