This image is possibly cut from a magazine or periodical.

Hobden Baths, built in 1864, were just to the west of the Grand Hotel. The building was acquired by the hotel at the begining of the 20th century and later was incorporated into it.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
