Description

Originally built as a stables, the Dome became a cavalry barracks between 1850 and 1864, before being converted into a theatre between 1864 and 1867.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 21st July 1960.
