Description

On the left edge of the frame is the start of Filching chalk pits.

The postcard was sent on 28th July 1909 and is addressed to Mrs Leeney at Goss Roads, Southwick, Sussex.

The message reads 'I wonder if you will recognize this, thought it might interest you. Hope you are all well. I'm afraid the little man will have quite forgotten me but I shall soon be back now, it seems a long time since I left home. Hope you see Katie often. Love from Alice. Wannock 28 July '09'.
