Description

The Bear Hotel, located on the east bank of the River Ouse, was destroyed in a fire on 18th June 1918, and subsequently demolished.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
