Description

School Hill is the name given to this part of the High Street. Although the photograph was taken from in front of School Hill House, the building in not visible in the frame and the house on the edge of the photograph (with a boy standing beside the railings) is Lewes House, now home to Lewes District Council.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
