The building on the right edge of the frame is the Crown Hotel.

The Star Hotel (also known as the Star Inn) was remodelled in 1893 and is now the Town Hall.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
