Description

The Star Inn (also the Star Hotel) was later redeveloped and is now Lewes Town Hall, but the staircase remained in place.

At the bottom of the extract is the note 'L. V. Hunt & W. F. Young Del't'.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
