Description

The Monastery is the former chapel of the Austin Friary, which was dissolved in the 16th century.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 5th November 1943.
