Description

The Monastery was formerly the chapel of the Austin Priory, which was dissolved in the 16th century.

This is a modern print of an older photograph.

The partial negative number 'A/44' is recorded on the back of the print but the remainder has been lost when the print was cut. According to the National Buildings Record Negative Entry Book, R. G. Collins deposited 63 negatives in 1944, numbered AA44/00151 to AA 44/00213.
