Description

A new wider bridge was constructed by the Corporation of Leicester over the River Soar in 1862. Behind the crowd, the Bow Bridge Inn is visible. The plaque visible on the gable wall of the building to the right reads "Near this spot lie the remains of Richard III the last of the Plantagenats 1485".
