Description

Henry Leonard Campbell Brassey, 1st Baron Brassey of Apethopre (1870-1958) was a Conservative politician. He was a horse owner and breeder and a member of the Jockey Club for 60 years. Lord Brassey had a long working relationship with the trainer Thomas Jennings, based in Newmarket.
