Description

The photographer's hand-written notes on the reverse of print describe the narrowness of the High Street "in proximity to the N P Bank" (now the National Westminster Bank) and comments upon the early 19th century window at 63 High Street (George Hotel), "which is threatened". The George Hotel is now an estate agents premises. The window has been replaced with a modern shop front.
