Description

The photographer's typewritten notes on the reverse of this print read: "PLYMOUTH: 1954 Progress picture of the extent of the post war £15 million rebuilding plan in the new Royal Parade opened by King George VI...". "The plan for Plymouth's new Civic Centre are just announced: a 14 storey office block, lower buildings elevated on columns and most of the buildings glass sided."
