Description

Crossley House was built in the 1850s for Sir Frank Crossley. On his death in 1872 it became the property of Halifax Corporation which housed the Central Library and museum in hte building. It was converted into offices in the 1980s. The War Memorial, unveiled in 1922, was moved to Duffy Park in the mid 20th century.
