Description

The memorial monument was constructed c1890 to commemorate the crew of the St Anne's lifeboat, who in 1886 lost their lives attempting to save the crew of the 'Mexico', wrecked off Southport. The postcard was produced by Isaac C Leach of St Anne's on Sea.
