A former cast iron bowls pavilion, now derelict, in Stanley Park, Liverpool

The pavilion was designed by E R Robson, who designed many of the park's structures. It dates from around 1870 and served bowling greens which were laid out in around 1906. At the time this photograph was taken, the pavilion was Listed Grade II. However, it was subsequently demolished or moved, probably as part of refurbishment of the park between 2007 and 2009. This photograph was published on page 53 of 'Played in Liverpool' by Ray Physick.
