Description

The Kop Stand, formerly a standing terrace, was demolished and rebuilt in 1994 following recommendations in the Taylor Report after the Hillsborough Stadium disaster of 1989. Rubble from the Kop was sold and is believed to have raised £200,000 for charity. This photograph, with the background removed, was published on page 59 of 'Played In Liverpool' by Ray Physick.
