Description

Southwark Park Lido was opened in 1923. It closed in around 1989-1992 and the site was later redeveloped as a children's playground. The cafe and fountain, both added to the lido in 1954, remained extant, with the cafe becoming an art gallery. This photograph was published on page 312 of 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis.
