Description

The first Lord's Cricket Ground was laid out in 1787 on a site known as Dorset Fields, part of which later became Dorset Square. In 1811 the ground was moved north-west to a site between Rossmore Road and Lodge Place. Since 1814 it has occupied the site on St John's Wood Road.
