Description

Hackney Marshes were opened to the public in 1893 and were formally dedicated in 1894. At their peak in the mid to late 20th century, there were around 120 pitches on the site. The North Marsh Changing Rooms were built in the 1960s, and were demolished in around 2010-2018.
