The London Rowing Club (LRC) was founded in 1856. Its boat house was designed by George Dunnage and was opened in 1871. It features a rooftop terrace and first floor viewing balcony. The boat house is used by the Oxford crew in the annual Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge.
