Description

London Scottish Golf Club, founded in 1865, is the second oldest golf club in London. The clubhouse dates from 1897. Golfers have been obliged to wear red tops since 1892 by order of the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators, to warn members of the public that golf is in progress.
