Description

Arsenal Stadium (also known as Highbury Stadium) was opened in 1936. At the time, the East Stand was the most expensive grandstand to be built in Britain. The stadium was converted into residential apartments known as Highbury Stadium Square in 2007. It is Grade II Listed. This photograph was published on page 238 of 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis.
