Description

The Emirates Stadium (formerly Ashburton Grove) was opened in 2006. The 'Spirit of Highbury' exhibit is a composite photograph showing all 482 players and fourteen managers for Arsenal during their first 93 years at Highbury, between 1913 and 2006. It was unveiled in 2009 in Armoury Square, near the Benwell Road entrance of the stadium. This photograph was published on page 243 of 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis.
