Description

The stadium was opened in 1896. The east stand was originally known as the Stevenage Road Stand and was renamed the Johnny Haynes Stand after the former player's death in 2005. It was designed by Archibald Leitch and was built in 1905. The stand is Grade II listed. This photograph was published on page 109 of 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis.
