Description

The Freemasons' Tavern was the site of the founding of the Football Association in 1863. The building was demolished in 1927 and the facade was incorporated into the Connaught Rooms (or Grand Connaught Rooms), at 61-65 Great Queen Street. This photograph was published on page 225 of 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis.
