The pavilion was built in 1924 to the designs of Sir John James Burnet. It was extended and altered in the late 20th century, although the original structure was identical to the neighbouring croquet pavilion. Both pavilions are listed at Grade II. This photograph was published on page 164 of 'Bowled Over: The bowling greens of Britain' by Hugh Hornby.
