The South Stand designed by Archibald Leitch replaced the original stand which was built 1899-1903. Leitch's stand was constructed between 1913 and 1915, and was extended in 1995-1996. This photograph was published on the back cover of 'Engineering Archie: Archibald Leitch - football ground designer' by Simon Inglis. This image was scanned from an undated 35mm transparency.
