Description

Roker Park was the home of Sunderland Football Club from 1898 until 1997, when the club moved to the newly-built Stadium of Light. The balconies of the Main Stand at Roker Park were designed by Archibald Leitch in 1929. This photograph was published on page 200 of 'Engineering Archie: Archibald Leitch - football ground designer' by Simon Inglis.
