White Hart Lane was opened in 1899. Between 1909 and 1934, Archibald Leitch designed stands and redeveloped terraces on each side of the stadium. The East Stand was rebuilt in 1934 and was reroofed in 1989. The stadium was demolished in 2017 and was replaced by Tottenham Hotspur Stadium sited slightly to the north. This photograph was published on page 113 of 'Engineering Archie: Archibald Leitch - football ground designer' by Simon Inglis.
