Putney Pool, later Putney Leisure Centre, was opened in March 1968. The complex is formed of linked blocks, housing function and meeting rooms, teaching pool, plant boilers, and the main pool and gallery. This photograph was published on page 246 of 'Great Lengths: The historic indoor swimming pools of Britain' by Dr Ian Gordon and Simon Inglis.
