Description

Richmond Baths were opened in June 1966 and is thought to the second and final pool to be opened in Britain with both an indoor and outdoor pool built at the same time. The baths were listed at Grade II in 1996. This photograph was published on page 242 of 'Great Lengths: The historic indoor swimming pools of Britain' by Dr Ian Gordon and Simon Inglis.
