Description
This new main entrance of Totting Bec Lido was completed in 2002. It was designed in an Art Deco style by William Martin and Partners. The original entrance was located to the south of the pool, beyond the deep end; the new entrance was built at the north-west corner, close to the shallow end, in part due to safety concerns. This photograph was published on page 56 of 'Liquid Assets: The lidos and open air swimming pools of Britain' by Janet Smith.
