The handwritten caption beneath the images reads:
"1956. Built on site of deep air raid shelter demolished after last world war in slum district of city. Presbytery in foreground built on top of concrete rubble of air raid shelter. Church built over Church Hall built in hole [illegible] pavement after concrete rubble of shelter removed. Walls brick. Windows painted softwood."
The church building was demolished at an unknown date, possibly after 2003. As of 2019, the presbytery remains standing.
