Description

The handwritten caption beneath this image reads:

"1961. Walls faced with polished light green Swedish granite with black Belgium polished granite window reveals, plinth and door architrave. Door plate glass. Signs, illuminated after dark. Vestibule faced with black and gold Italian marble."

The building became a branch of Barclays bank in 1969 and was closed in around 1996. As of 2019, the building has been subdivided.
