A general view facing west along the length of Pottergate, in the parish of Alnwick, showing blocks of housing to the south
- Date:
- 1960- 1979
- Location:
- 1-22 Pottergate, Alnwick, Northumberland
- Reference:
- RAC01/01/05/01
- Type:
- Photograph (Print)
As the image is a general view of Pottergate, it gives very little detail of the housing towards the south. These two blocks of housing cover 1 - 22 Pottergate and were designed by Reavell and Cahill architects in the later 1960s. The entirety of 1- 14 Pottergate is not in the frame.
The reverse of the album page has a handwritten note reading "Geo Pringle- No Reference". It is unclear whether this refers to the photographer or the construction contractor.
This is part of the Volume: RAC01/01/05 Reavell and Cahill- album "Council Housing"; within the Series: RAC01/01 Reavell and Cahill - series of albums; within the Collection: RAC01 Reavell and Cahill, Architects
