Description

The typed caption on the reverse of the album page reads:

"Eight Houses at Hipsburn for Alnwick Rural District Council. Completed: 1949. Cost: £14,080. Contractor: R.Carse & Son Ltd."

Only four of the eight houses are visible in the image. However, the eight properties referred to in the caption probably relate to all the houses occupying the space around the crescent road.
