'ANZAC Day' was originally devised to commemorate the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who died during the Gallipoli campaign in the First World War. Today, it has become a national day of remembrance, held on 25th April, to commemorate those who have died or suffered in any war or conflict.
