Description

The photograph is recorded on the original negative packet as showing a 'VE Procession'. Footage issued by British Pathe on 8th August 1945 shows the Royal Family on their way to a thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral, dressed in the same outfits in which they are shown in SAM01/03/0889.
